Midsummer Festival Rules
Tickets
- Tickets are transferrable, but may not be returned for a refund.
- Please notify us by sending an email to if you wish to transfer camping passes.
- Your tickets are valuable, do not lose them as a replacement will NOT be issued.
- Persons wishing to volunteer must commit to 14 hours, including a 2 hour orientation, to receive a complimentary weekend pass.
- All family pass holders must arrive together to redeem their pass.
Camping
- Campsites are limited to 300 campsites, maximum of four adults per site.
- To improve safety and reduce traffic, vehicles are subject to a $10 entry fee EACH time they are brought into the grounds.
- If one member of a site is ejected for disrespectful conduct, the whole group will be ejected.
- Those under the age of 19 must camp with their family.
General Conduct
- No public intoxication will be tolerated.
- Patrons found in possession of illicit drugs will be turned over to the RCMP.
- Patrons will be courteous and respectful to the other patrons.
- This is a glass-free festival. For the safety of all our patrons, please bring only plastic bottles and cans.
- Live music only; no pre-recorded music. Bring your guitar, drums, shakey-egg, etc. Leave the boom box at home.
- Campfires are restricted to designated fire pits maintained by festival staff.
- Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- With the exception of service animals, dogs are not permitted.
- The BVFMS reserves the right, at our discretion, to refuse entry or eject anyone without a refund.
- Alcohol is not permitted within the stage and audience areas.
By purchasing tickets you hereby acknowledge and agree to abide by these rules.
